Ruby Britt Butler, 82, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Ruby was an angel on earth. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by her daughters and family.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, William Herman Butler. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Patti Butler Robbins and Debbie Butler; daughter-in-law, Christina Larson; granddaughters; Tara Richardson and husband Brian, Megan Robbins; sister, Janet Hartsell and husband Jerry; sister-in-law, Grace Shoemaker and her family and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Ruby’s life will be held on Wednesday, 3:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405. The family would like to give a special thank you to Julie, the Hospice In Home Care Nurse.
