Ruth was born October 12, 1933, in Columbus, OH, as Ruth Nadine Wright, second child of Kenneth and Lillian Wright. She married Ross Lynn Clem in 1958 and, subsequently, moved to Alliance, OH, where she bore and raised five children: William, Elizabeth, Lynda, David, and Susan. After divorcing in 1978, Ruth raised her children while working as a church secretary at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church until she retired. When her youngest child, Susan, finished college, she moved to Greensboro, NC, to be closer to four of her children and to enjoy the nice weather, friendly people, and grandchildren: Angela, Kathryn, Addison, Lindsay, Rebecca, William, Ross, Madeline, and Lilian. Predeceased by her brother Glenn, she is survived by her brother Kenneth, sister Charlene, her children, and grandchildren.
A memorial service was held for family at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home in Greensboro, NC, on Sunday, November 7th. Ruth will be interred at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, OH.
