Shanna L. Tucker

Shanna was a graduate of Ragsdale High School class of 1998. She was the Office Manager for the District III office of the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office. Shanna’s career with the Sheriff’s Office spanned over 24 years.

Shanna never met a stranger. She had a multitude of friends and coworkers who cared about her. She was quick witted, always willing to help anyone she could, generous and thoughtful to all of her friends. She was passionate about her various hobbies and was always gifting things to the people she cared about. She loved painting at Distractions and coloring/crafting at home. She loved all things 80’s. Her favorite times were spent with friends and her beloved dog, Malcolm. Shanna lived her life her way and without apology.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Sue Robinson Scarboro, aunts, Margaret A. McCall and Christine R. Lowe, and an uncle, Tom Robinson.

She is survived by her father, Jerry Dale Tucker of Jamestown; four aunts, Melinda Pegg and husband Dale of Mt. Airy and their son, Stephen Wade Key and his wife Chi of Winston-Salem, Ruby R. Russell of Ft. Mill, SC, Helen R. Vanhoy of Kernersville, and Ruth Robinson of High Point.

Shanna will be laid to rest beside her mother at Guilford Memorial Park with a private family service.

A floating Celebration of Life Service for our beloved Shanna will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday December 5, 2026 at the Greensboro Elks Lodge 2201 West Cornwallis Dr. Greensboro, NC. Contact Captain Beth Cox or Joy Scott for monetary or food related donations.
