Shaylah was proceeded in death by Great-Grandparents Juanita and Charlie Anast, Uncle Chris George and Grandmother Gray Cole.
Shaylah was loved by so many, but especially by her husband Alex and her wonderful family. She was so proud to be Mrs. Alex Cole, who she fell in love with when she was in middle school. She always told her friends that she knew one day she would be Mrs. Shaylah Cole. Her smile lit up every room even when she was in pain. Shaylah earned the nickname “Sassy” from her stepfather and that fierceness is what helped her fight cancer for over five years. She loved all her nieces and nephew so much that she would let them sit in her lap, fight to walk beside her, or just hold them close when they needed some Shaylah love. She adored her daily FaceTime calls with Charlie to get her daily dose of smiles like her Aunt Shaylah. She was a devoted Demon Deacons fan and loved to watch their football games every chance she could. Nothing brought Shaylah more happiness than spending time with Alex and supporting his crew at Greensboro Fire Station 52, who considered her part of their family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday January 23, 2026, at Jamestown United Methodist Church 403 E. Main St. Jamestown, NC 27282 officiated by Pastor Jonathan Robbins.
