Shelby Irene (Strader) Guill

Shelby was born in Rockingham County to Dewey and Lillian Strader. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pam Eanes, grandchildren, Blake Eanes (Mandy), and Morgan Hayes (Ronte), a brother, Danny Strader (Virginia), her beloved twin sister, Shirley Hill, and many nieces and nephews that she loved and raised as her own.

After retiring from the textile industry, she worked until the age of 75 at Short Sugars in Reidsville where she became friends with her coworkers and customers.

Shelby was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt that will be deeply missed by anyone that knew her. She also loved her grand-fur babies and spoiled them as much as she did her grandkids. Shelby never met a stranger and was known well for her kind, loving spirit.

The family would like to thank the Annie Penn hospital ER, ICU, and palliative care staff for the compassion and care shown to Shelby.

We were so blessed to have her for so long in our lives. Heaven has truly gained a precious angel.

A memorial service is to be held at a later date.
