As I compose myself to send this email, it's with heartfelt sympathy to hear of the passing of my Sister in Christ Jesus, Shirley M. Ramseur. My heart is filled with sadness at this time, knowing that I will not be able to pray and laugh with my sister. She was a Pioneer in the Prison Ministry. A lover of souls for the kingdom of Christ. An upright woman of the Most High God. Always encouraging! Always projecting honesty and truth! Her trustworthiness, Respect, Caring, and Compassion for ALL SOULS was always on a high standard.

Words elude us as we attempt to express our condolences for the passing of your loved one, and our elder sister, and friend. We still cherish and reminisce about the times we spent as a family at Islen Community Church, Islen, New Jersey. Often I reflect on the many nights and days we spent worshiping and traveling together as an evangelistic team: the Christian Playettes. I have always admired Sister Shirley’s gift and boldness to witness and win souls. Whether she was at the church sanctuary, visiting the Rahway prison, ministering on the stage, interacting in a gathering, etc., seeing someone saved was dear to her heart. She had a unique and effective way of presenting Jesus Christ. Her presence spoke volumes before she said a word. She was a walking message that Jesus saves. Her love for her Lord was evident! As a young minister, I remember thinking that I had never met anyone like her in my life. Only God knows the number of souls impacted, influenced, and brought into the kingdom of God through her anointed and powerful evangelistic efforts. 
 
 Her tenacity and sacrificial campaign to win souls to Christ continued when she returned to her home state of North Carolina. She had a fantastic gift to find open doors that other ministers and missionaries could go through to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Regularly, she would team up with Lady Rubina Parson and travel to the city of Lincoln, NC, to minister, often in the middle of the week. Lady Rubina and I are so blessed to have been a part of her life. She was such a good and pleasant person to be around.
 

To the Ramsuer Family

     our hearts are filled with much sadness for the loss of a dear cousin and friend but we have the assurance of God’s grace.  Shirley has truly endeared our hearts has gone to a better place. Shirley is leaving us with fond memories, faith and love.   God has plucked another flower to enter into the gates of heaven.   To God Be The Glory!!!!!!!!!!

To God be the Glory. It's with heartfelt sympathy to hear of the passing to ancestry of my  dear cousin Shirley . I will truly miss getting an occasional call letting me know about the family reunion plans and just checking on me. It was always a joy. Her memory will always have a space in my heart.
May you find comfort in knowing that she is now in Heaven as she is firmly planted in the word.
