A cryptside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Born July 12, 1926, in Sparta, North Carolina, Ms. Wheatley was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She retired from Wrangler after many years of employment. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband, Ray Wheatley.
Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew, Steve Deal and his wife Cathy of Kernersville; great-nephew, Scott Deal; great-niece, Misty Deal; and two great great-nephews, Preston and Jayden.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery, following the cryptside service.
