Susie L. Reynolds

Susie Latham Reynolds, 95, was born in Davidson County, NC. She passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022. Susie was preceded in death by her parents Edgar Ray Latham Sr. & wife Nora, her loving husband, Floyd A. Reynolds and her siblings Ray Latham Jr. and James Edward Latham.

Upon completion of her two-year associate's degree from Lenior-Rhyne University, Susie worked for United Furniture in Lexington, NC. Susie also served many years as the church organist at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Welcome, NC.

She met the love of her life, Floyd A. Reynolds, on a blind date and married on May 23, 1959. Soon thereafter they moved to Greensboro, NC which they made their home for over sixty years.

Susie leaves behind her children and their spouses, Jane R. Hammack and husband Chris Hammack of Thomasville, NC and Bruce L. Reynolds and wife Donelle S. Reynolds of Wake Forest, NC; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Austin C. Beck & wife Rachel and great grandson Elijah & great grand daughter Peyton, Taylor J. Beck, Stafford A. Beck, McKenzie G. Reynolds, Connor F. Beck, and Cameron L. Reynolds.

Susie spoke often of being reunited with her loved ones that had gone before her. She is resting peacefully now with her friends and family.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the tender loving care their mom received at Friends Home Guilford, Heritage Greens, and Hospice of Greensboro.
