Tommy G Hendrick

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 14, 2011 at Friendly Ave. Church of Christ. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Westminster Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.

Tommy was a graduate of Auburn University School of Engineering and retired from Huntsman, formerly CIBA. He was a member of Friendly Ave Church of Christ. He was the first president of the Auburn Chemical Engineering Alumni Council. The Council honored him by naming its award recognizing leadership and dedication the Tom Hendrick Leadership Award. He is known for his deep Christian faith and his excellence as a husband, a father, a grandfather, a son, a friend and dedicated professional in all his endeavors.

Mr. Hendrick was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Hendrick.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Josey Hendrick; mother, Julia K. Hendrick of Macon, GA; sons, Michael Hendrick and wife Chrysty of Renton, WA, Russell Hendrick and wife Laura of Montgomery, AL, Kevin Bryant and wife Marie of Dallas, GA and Todd Bryant and wife Katy of Acworth, GA; five grandchildren, Caleb, Harrison, Mikaela, Jakub, and Quinlan; and brother, Terry Hendrick and wife Mary of Macon, GA; and a niece and nephew.
