Mrs. Violet Maurice Collins passed away on Wednesday May 2, 2012. Mrs. Collins was born October 13, 1943 in Roanoke Rapids, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Curtis Maurice. She was a homemaker and partner with her husband at Sedgefield Graphics for 36 years.
Violet is survived by her husband David Collins, family children Cathy Beck and Karen Williams of Bradenton FL, Kenneth Williams of Wilmington, NC, Katrina Collins of Greensboro, brothers Wayne Maurice and William Maurice both of Roanoke Rapids, NC, grandchildren Dustin Clemons USAF and Andrew Clemons of Bradenton, FL.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 12, 2012 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice Care of your choice.
