Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park.
Virginia was born on March 22, 1932 in Stuart, VA, the daughter of William Andrew and Nettie Pearl Dickerson. She was the loving mother of six children. She loved to bake, read and work puzzles. She was often the adopted mother and grandmother to many other children besides her own. She always placed her family above herself. Virginia’s joy in life was here family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Pearl Keener of Greensboro, NC, Charles Keener of Greensboro, NC, William Keener, Russell Keener and wife Kim, all of Whitsett, NC, James Keener and wife Patricia of Colfax, NC, Bobby Keener and wife Gail of Sophia, NC; brothers, John Dickerson of Greensboro, NC and Charles Dickerson of Colfax, NC; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
