She was born in Forest City, NC the daughter of the late William G and Hattie Beattie Magness. She was a clerical worker at Jefferson-Pilot for many years. She was a longtime member of West Market Street United Methodist Church. Her wit and humor will be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her forever.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Harry B. Kendrick. Left to cherish her memory are her son Harry Scott Kendrick and wife Audrey; granddaughters, Karla Stapleton and husband David and Jennifer Robbins all of Greensboro; great grandchildren, Beau Scruggs, Hayden Stapleton, Rachel Stapleton and Harry Robbins of Greensboro.
The family wishes to thank Ashton Place and Hospice of Greensboro for their compassionate and loving care given to Mrs. Kendrick.
At her request, there will be no service and no flowers.
