Born in Nettleton, Arkansas in 1933 to the late Jewell Rickman White and Warren Wesley White. He was the oldest of 5 children and the only son. Survived by his wife of 43 precious years of marriage, Elizabeth Lazarides White. Combined they had 8 children; 28 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Ed was a textile chemist by trade, with several patents that made the world more colorful in so many ways. But, his passion was playing Country and Bluegrass music and wrote and performed most of his life. What made Ed the happiest was his wife Liz. He loved her deeply and for that, his family is forever grateful.
He was a sweet gentle soul, an amazing artist, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and mentor to many. We are certain as he journeys to heaven today he will stop off in Nettleton, Arkansas at Crowleys Ridge and raise his hands in praise and thank the Lord for his colorful life and amazing family before he steps through Heaven’s gates.
