Dear Kirksey Family 
I was heartbroken to hear of Bills’s passing . Although it has been many years since we last connected, the memories of our friendship and the support he offered during our time together remain close to my heart. Bill  was not only a cherished friend but also a remarkable mentor in my business endeavors. His wisdom, guidance, and unwavering belief in my abilities played a significant role in shaping my career. I will forever be grateful for the time and effort he invested in me, and I will carry his lessons with me always. I often reflect on our conversations and the laughter we shared. Those moments brought joy and inspiration into my life, and I know they will continue to do so as I remember him fondly. It is hard to believe that I will no longer hear his voice or seek his advice, but I find comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the lives he touched.
Please accept my deepest condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts are with you and everyone who loved Bill. there is anything I can do to support you, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Wow. I’ve been trying to reach him these past few years just to say hello, and check in. He was a brilliant, generous soul. During a transitional season in my life, he stepped in like a coach and opened my eyes to rooms I didn’t even know existed. I’ll never forget him taking me to a Peter Lugers Steakhouse in New York and then to the Yale Club to show me how real pitches happen at the highest levels. He was preparing me to step up. Grateful for his time, laughter n generosity.

Bill came to my office for help through the "Maze of Medicare" and plans he might qualify for.  He was definitely one of the most enjoyable conversationalists I've met in recent memory.  I will miss his substantive conversations greatly.  May God comfort you family members in this time as you reflect on all the good memories with Bill.

When we were much younger Bill and I were close if not best of friends for nearly twenty years.   We came to New York City together, shared an apartment in our early twenties but sadly, for many reasons,  grew apart.  Now, I deeply regret that I failed to maintain our friendship. Bill was a big part of my life and I have so many good memories of experiences we shared in Greensboro and later in New York as we embarked on our careers.  Of one thing I am sure, Bill had more native intelligence and potential than almost anyone I knew in my early life and I wish I had been a better friend to him all along.  Condolences to his family and friends.  

We are friends of Lind and write to send our sincere condolences to you and the entire family.  We hope that fond memories will eventually replace the void you now feel.  Best to you all, Cissy and Bill Parham
