Bill was my neighbor on Colonial for many years. I will miss him dearly. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on Fannie's screened in porch with Bill and talking about anything and everything. He was such a great conversationalist. Such an intelligent man. One of my favorite memories is when he would join us on the porch and say, "I guess you're all wondering why I have called this meeting." Bill liked to pretend to be a grumpy old man, but he was such a loving nephew to Fannie and a really wonderful addition to my life on Colonial Avenue. When I moved away, he told me that he would miss me and when I would see him, he would tell me every time that he missed me. Well, Bill, I miss you, too. Cheers to you.

Love, Susannah

Bill and I were class mate's at Oak Ridge together, we became friends along with Jim Savage, the things we did and didn't get caught at you could make into a book. Bill was a wonderful person and a true friend he helped me during my new days at the RIDGE, and in later years I sat on the board for a short period of time with Bill and Jim. I will cherish the memories I have during our Oak Ridge days and I have also found some pictures. To the girls, your father was a true friend, you should be very proud of him.
