As an Iron City native, Zach shared a love for throwing terrible towels at Pittsburgh Steelers’ games with his family. He grew up in Nashville, TN before moving to Greensboro with his family and step-family. Zach played soccer and baseball for his high school’s teams before graduating in 2014. His adventurous spirit led him to Appalachian State University and Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado for undergraduate studies before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah. There, he fell more in love with the outdoors. Later, Zach moved back to Greensboro, NC to be closer to his family where he was employed by Pepsi. Zach enjoyed hiking, snowboarding and exploring with his dog Boomer. Above all, Zach was known for his infectious smile and love for his family and friends.
