Betty E. Bruner Swegman

Betty E. Swegman, 85, of Greensburg passed away on February 18, 2016 at Aspen Place. She was born on January 31, 1931 in Greensburg the daughter of William and Madge Wilson Bruner. Betty married George Junior Swegman on October 4, 1946. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Eagles and American Legion.

Survivors include: Daughters- Georgia (Marvin) Ray of Versailles, Judy (Tony) Gilland of Greensburg, Suzie (Merdith) Bass of Shelbyville, Sandy (Jerry) Stuart of Greensburg, and Jodie Hundley of Greensburg; Brothers- William Bruner of Georgia and Kenneth Bruner of Osgood; 11 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her Parents; Husband- George Junior Swegman; Grandson- Scott Bass.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 am also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Redd will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Sandcreek Cemetery.
