Daryel E. Newell

Daryel E. Newell 77 of Sebring, Florida formerly of Greensburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday September 6, 2011 at the I.U. Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana. He was born January 20, 1934 in Montgomery County, Indiana the son of Glenn and Margaret (Moody) Newell. He graduated in 1953 from Waveland High School. He was farmer, and enjoyed playing card games, riding horses, but he especially enjoyed the times with his wife and grandchildren. He married Lois (Pitcock) on June 6, 1954 at the Browns Valley Christian Church in Brownsville, IN. She preceded him in death on August 2, 2011.

He is survived by three daughters: Tina Lynn Newell of Sebring, FL., Lisa Elles of Greensburg, IN., and Gayl (Brent) Wilkins of Fountaintown, IN.; five sons: Darren (Debbie) Newell of Columbus, IN., Sam (Penny) Newell, Fred Newell, and Jamie (Kim) Newell all of Greensburg, IN.; Scott Newell of Sebring, FL.; three sisters: Loretta Seybold, Mary Ann (Charles) Davis, Norma (Wayne) Rooze all of Crawfordsville, IN. one sister in law: Vickie Newell. Fourteen grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois, one sister: Shirley Derrington, two brother in laws: Richard Seybold and Terry Derrington.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:45am on Sunday September 18, 2011 at the Sandusky United Methodist Church for both Daryel and Lois Newell with reverend Richard Waddle officiating.
