Helen Louise Taylor McCammon

Helen Louise (Taylor) McCammon, 97, of Greensburg passed away on November 2, 2012. She was born on October 31, 1915 in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of John William and Sadie (Elder) Taylor. Helen was a 1933 graduate of Greensburg High School. She married H. Neal McCammon on April 24, 1946. Helen was a homemaker. Her choice of giving up a career proved to be one that certainly benefitted all of her family in a way that could never have been replaced. That is her Legacy! Helen was a member of the First Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star #147, Evening Lecture Circle of Department Club, Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for 12 years, Red Cross, Bridge Club, Delta Theta Tau Sorority holding office of President, Vice President, and Corresponding Secretary.

Survivors include: Children- Stephen Gene McCammon and Ann (Jesse) Peters, Grandchildren- Dawn (Eric) Peters-Keith, Shawn (Rebecca) Peters, Matthew McCammon, and David McCammon, Great Grandchildren- Lochlin Peters, Isabella Peters, Gabriel Peters, Alexandra Peters, Parker Keith, and Madison Keith. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Husband- H. Neal McCammon, and an Infant Son.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the South Park Cemetery. Rev. Gregory Pimlott will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Seasons Hospice. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.gilliland-howe.com
