Holly was born August 29, 1955 in Holten, Indiana. She graduated from South Ripley High School in 1973. She was married in 1974 and they had three daughters. She remarried in 1998 and had her 4th daughter. Holly started her work career at the Osgood Shoe Factory, and then she was employed by KB foods for 12 years. After three years at KB foods, she began nursing classes at IUPUI and 11 years later she earned her nursing degree. She then began her nursing career, a career she was meant for, until the cancer cut her life short twenty years later.
Holly loved babies, small children, her children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, the outdoors, and Jimmy Buffett. She was an accomplished cook and homemaker. She loved strawberries, asparagus, and dark chocolate. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Holly is survived by Bill Wenning her Fiancé and loving companion of many years; her children Monica (Chad) Ogden, Julie Brinson, Megan (Shawn) Speer, and Zoe Peters (at home); her grandchildren Ian Brinson, Devin Rich, Isaac Ogden, McKinley Ogden, Kaidyn Speer, Ezra Speer, Elijah Speer; two half-brothers Jerry Wilson and Timmy Wilson; and an Aunt Vi Walters.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sue Wilson and Harold Wilson and a brother Randy Wilson.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 11:00 am.
