Pansy Marie Cummins, 91, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the Arbor Grove Nursing Home. Pansy was born on August 18, 1923, in Decatur County, the daughter of Walter and Lily (Lee) Land. On January 19, 1946, Pansy married Millard Cummins and he preceded her in death in March of 1977.
Pansy was a housewife, raising her three children, and then became very involved in the Greensburg Senior Citizen Center for more than 30 years.
Survivors include two daughters – Debra (Daniel) Holt and Jerelyn Koester both of Greensburg, one son Kevin (Lori) Cummins) of Westport, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters – Elsie Jones and Violet Haas, and two infant brothers.
There will be a visitation for family and friends held on Thursday from 11AM until the start of the funeral service 12PM all at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Sandcreek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandcreek Cemetery.
