

Thelma L. Wilson, 85, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011. Thelma was born, the daughter of George and Edith Weber, on December 14, 1925, in Greensburg. She graduated from Greensburg High School in 1944 and married Hershel Wilson on December 8, 1945, and he survives.
Thelma worked at General Electric in Shelbyville for many years and was also a devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Lion’s Club, and the First Church of God.
Survivors include: her husband Hershel; daughters – Roberta (Stephen) Witowich (Somerset, KY), Patricia (Arthur) Koors (Greensburg); Son – Harold (Jeanne) Wilson (Greensburg); Daughter-in-law – Cathy Herbert-Wilson (Greensburg); Grandchildren - Dawn Marie (Stefan Fleming) Dalton, Annette Hankins, Andrea Koors, Angela (Jeremy) Hall, Lora (John) Miller, David (Monique) Wilson, Jeff (Rushda Afzal) Wilson, Brian (Jennifer) Wilson, and Wade Wilson; and 16 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son - Dale Wilson, great granddaughters – Brienna and Brittany Michael, sisters – Viola Hinds and Hazel Marie Hunt; Brothers – Earl and Ralph Weber.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 13 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 4PM – 8PM. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, at 10:30AM at the First Church of God in Greensburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
