

Cheryl was born on August 11, 1947, in Richmond, Indiana to the late Dale and Marilyn (Miller) Tyler.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Gary Wick whom she married on May 4, 1968; her children, Tony Wick, Kevin (Morgan) Wick and Sara (Eric) Beaty; grandchildren, Brandon (Victoria) Beaty, Kyle (Macy) Beaty, Brian Wick, Kaitlyn Beaty, Hudson Abney and Olivia Abney; great grandchildren, Zoey, Owen and Delilah; her special nephew and niece, Chris Shoemaker and Lori Toschlog.
Cheryl was a 1965 graduate of New Madison High School. Early on, Cheryl worked at the west end Richmond Bank and Just Ice Cream in the Piqua Mall. Her biggest and most important job was raising her family and being a “farmers wife” alongside Gary for 57 years. Cheryl was the score keeper for multiple sports at the Newton Local Schools in Pleasant Hill. She also enjoyed helping with kiddie tractor pulls. She will be missed by many but most certainly by her trusty four-legged companion, Speedy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Dan Hicks officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of the services in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Newcomer Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
Memorial contributions may be given in Cheryl’s memory to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. County Road 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373.
