Esther L Reeser-Blankenship

Esther was born on November 10, 1935, in Rossburg to the late Lauren L. & Esther L. (Stump) Brown. Esther was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Dale F. Reeser; 2nd husband, James D. Blankenship; stepson, Bob Blankenship; step granddaughter, Angie Toops; siblings, Charold & Olive Brown, June Yount, Ronald & Pauline Brown, Isabelle & Bob Fox, Edward “Dutch” & Betty Brown, Frances & Rocky Neal, and twin infants, Donald Brown, and Marie Brown, and John & Velma Boner.

Esther is survived by her children, Daniel D. & Linda Reeser of Greenville and Melvin L. & Debbie Reeser of Greenville; grandchildren, Jason (Ruth) Reeser, Tracy (Michael) Hardy, Brian (Lacie) Reeser, Nathan Reeser, Sarah (Josh) Kenworthy, Phillip (Michelle) Reeser; great grandchildren, Dale (Makalia) Reeser, Bradley Reeser, Cody (Quinci) Hardy, Conner Hardy, Owen Hardy, Paytyn Hiestand, Colton Hiestand, Mason Reeser, Madison Resser, Tylee Reeser, Traeh Reeser, Tayla Reeser, Tanner Reeser, and Matilda Kenworthy; great great grandchildren, Ryhett Reeser and Makenna Reeser; step children, Ron & Kea Blankenship of Dayton, and Kathy Toops of Portsmouth; step grandchildren, Ben (April) Blankenship, Scott Blankenship, Jessica Blankenship, Josh Blankenship, and Jarod Blankenship; and numerous step great grandchildren; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Shirley & Larry Addis of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Esther retired from Corning Glass in Greenville after 21 years of service. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Greenville. Esther loved her family very much as well as her pets.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, December 29, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Bill Dobson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
