Frederick Craig Wetzel, age 56, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10:05 AM at Riverside Nursing and Rehab Center in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on February 14, 1955 in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Frederick M. & Margaret A. (Jones) Wetzel.
Craig was a member of the Sons of the Legion and a Booster member of the VFW.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Brandon C. Wetzel of Greenville, Ohio; sister and brother in law, Stephanie & Stephen Didier of Greenville, Ohio; brother, David “Lynn” Wetzel of Arcanum, Ohio; numerous nieces, great nieces and great nephews.
There will be a service held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to the Darke County Cancer Association or Crossroads Hospice of Dayton, Ohio.
