Janice Ann Rogers

Janice Ann (House) Rogers, age 89, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 4:09 P.M. on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Brethren’s Retirement Community in Greenville, Ohio. Janice was born April 7, 1936, in Preble County, Ohio, to the late Ruby M. (Wolford) & John E. House.

Janice is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd E. Rogers, of 58 years, as well as her parents and her brother, Robert House.

Janice is survived by daughters & sons-in-law, Denise & Tim Miller of Greenville, Cherie & Jeff Jobes of Arcanum and Peggy & Steve Ristau of Arcanum; grandchildren, Megan (Evan) Jackson, Manda (Chris) Jones, Tyler (Melinda) Jobes, Tessa Jobes, Shelby (Justin) Rowland, Savanah (Clay) Stickley, Sydney (Cade) McGlinch and Ricci (Mike) Bailey; great-grandchildren, Joey, Mia and Evie Bailey, Gavin Jones, Owen and Gage Jobes, Calvin Jackson, Summitt, Lincoln, and Camille Rowland, Bristol and Blaire Stickley, Drew McGlinch and three expected great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Janice was a lifelong farmer’s wife and homemaker. She has been a member of Castine Church most of her life. Janice and Lloyd were huge supporters of the Darke County fair and were known for being at just about every one of their grandchildren’s activities while they were growing up. Her family was precious to her. She and Lloyd enjoyed camping, and they belonged to several RV Clubs over the years.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Gary Cloyd and Chaplain Suzi Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in Castine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. before services begin.
