Linda Lou Anderson

April 14, 1938 – October 22, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Lou Anderson, age 87, of Cocoa, Florida, who went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Linda is survived by her daughter-in-law, Beverly Jean Anderson; grandchildren Andrew Ray Anderson, Leah Rebekah Anderson, Jeremiah John Hendrex of Cocoa, Florida, and Bryan Joshua Hendrex of Miami, Florida; great-grandsons Jeremiah John Hendrex Jr. (J.J.) and Micah Ray Anderson; and great-granddaughter Aria Faith Anderson, all of Cocoa, Florida. She was lovingly known to her grandchildren as Grandma and Grandma Linda.

Linda is also survived by her sister Phyllis Holsinger of Covington, Ohio, and brothers Roger Class of Greenville, Ohio, and David Class of Marysville, Ohio and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard Class and Verda Wright Class, as well as her siblings Barbara Jean Class, Helen Stephan, Bernard Class Jr., and Robert Class.

Husband Ray William Anderson, and son Steven Ray Anderson.

Linda dedicated her life to her family and her home, spending her years as a devoted homemaker in both Ohio and Florida.

Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures — reading a good book, playing cards with loved ones, and working through her favorite puzzles. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and steadfast faith left an imprint on all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Abbottsville Cemetery in Arcanum, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that Linda is now at peace, reunited with loved ones in the presence of her Savior.
