Lois J. Bingham

Lois J. Bingham, age 83, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 10:45 PM at her residence. She was born on July 15, 1928 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late W. Perry & Josephine (Suman) Shank.

Lois was a homemaker and a member of the Piqua Apostolic Temple.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Dean Bingham, infant son, Timothy Bingham; granddaughter, Mendy Trissel; great granddaughter, April Peters; as well as all of her siblings.

Lois is survived by her husband, Walter Bingham of Greenville, Ohio, whom she married on November 11, 1944; sons and daughters in law, Larry & Karen Bingham of Palestine, Ohio, Scott & Betty Bingham of Greenville, Jack & Debbie Bingham of Greenville, Mike Bingham of Los Angeles, California, and Jim Bingham of Greenville; daughters and sons in law, K. Sue Waddell of Greenville, Barbara & Gary Goffinet of Carlisle, Ohio, Darlene & Rick Riffell of West Milton, Ohio, Sharon & Joe Smith of Greenville, and Diana & Jerry Duncan of Rossburg, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a service held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Dan Hathaway officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
