Walter Lorenzo Kiser

Walter L. Kiser, age 57 of Greenville, Ohio passed away suddenly at his home, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 11:45 AM. Born in Greenville on December 28, 1964 he was a son to the late Walter E. Kiser “Butch” & Betty D. (Brock) Kiser. Walter was a Greenville High School graduate, class of 1984. He was very active in the baseball community, where he coached youth baseball for 27 years. He also umpired for girls’ softball & boy’s baseball for 20 years and coached for the Mercer County Challengers. Recently he worked in maintenance, electrical, was a DJ and bouncer at the Skating Rink in Greenville. More than anything he loved his family, he will be truly missed.

Survived by his wife of 37 years, Annette J. (Nixon) Kiser, whom he married on December 10, 1984: children Dustin & Heather Kiser; Ashley Boseke; Robert Kiser: grandchildren Skyanne Flicker-Kiser; Ryan Durst; Dustin Kiser, Jr.; Paisley Kiser; Tyler Boseke; Lilyawna Fischer: siblings Ida & Randy Mogle; Beth Kiser; Eugene & Deanna Kiser: as well as many friends.

Friends may call on the family on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Funeral service to be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with Pastor Todd Reish presiding. Burial to follow at Greenville Cemetery.
