Born May 8, 1927 in Cologne, Germany and grew up in the Harz Mountains, she was the daughter of the late Ernst Eldmann and Annelise Aurin Eldmann. She obtained her Master’s in Nursing and served as a Nurse in Germany, England, Canada and the United States. She always had a kindred spirit despite the hardship between England and Germany in those years serving as a Nurse and being German at that time.
She was also a member of Taylors First Baptist, Legacy Choir and a member of XYZ. She was very well known for her cookies, in which she loved to experiment with different recipes and then give them away.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roy G. Grimble, both parents and one brother.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Taylors First Baptist.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taylors Free Medical Clinic, 400 W. Main St., Taylors, SC 29687.
