Arthur James Lasker

Arthur proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a Sergeant in the US Army, displaying honor, courage and commitment that defined his character. After his military service he dedicated himself to a 25 year career with the US Postal Service.

A devout family man, Arthur was the glue that kept everyone together. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Arthur's love for cooking was legendary among those that knew him. A talented chef, he found immense joy in preparing meals for family and friends creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Arthur is survived by his children Bret K. Lasker (Amanda), Melissa Lasker; his grandchildren Jordan (Tyler), Miranda (Jonathan), Brittany (Drew), Reagan (Russell) and Bradley (Lexie) and his great grandchildren Bryleigh, Brixton, Bryson, Ivy, Macksen, Magnolia, Raylen, Ripken and Raleigh-Hayes and Baby Duncan arriving soon.

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Lasker and daughter Ann Marie Lasker.

Arthur's legacy of love for family, strength and service will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.

A graveside service for Arthur will be held on Thursday August 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at MJ "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Dr. Anderson, SC 29621.
