Born on September 28, 1930 in Anderson County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William Russell and Kathleen Ducworth.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a faithful member of Edwards Road Baptist Church. Bobbie loved to be in the kitchen and was known for her macaroni pie. Her greatest joy in life was family; she cherished time with loved ones and found great purpose in serving others.
Bobbie spent her career at Stone Manufacturing Company where she made many enduring friendships. After her retirement, she filled her time doting on her grandchildren and enjoying life with her husband. Bobbie and Wade were big Atlanta Braves fans and never missed a game.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wade Bagwell, sisters Helen Ducworth, Martha Beerstein, and Elizabeth Allen, as well as brothers Bill and Jack Ducworth.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy Sisk (Tim), granddaughter Lindsey Connell (John), grandson Leighton Sisk (Kendall), and great-granddaughters Addison and Olivia Connell and Molly Sisk, all of Greenville, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services for Bobbie will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Edwards Road Baptist Church, 1050 Edwards Road, Greenville, SC 29615. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Bobbie will be laid to rest next to her husband in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
