Brady Eugene Ward Jr.

Brady was born February 24, 1936, to Brady E. Ward Sr. and Nell Green Ward of Greenville SC. Brady met his wife JoAnn in Anderson, SC, and they were married in 1957. They were members of Buncombe Road Baptist Church.

An electrician by trade, Brady co-founded H & W Electrical in 1973 and Ward Electrical Inc in 1988. He was active in the Shriners and a member of Sam Poe lodge for 65 years. He was an avid horseman, enjoyed dancing, and was known for his big-hearted personality, generosity, and humor.

Brady is survived by his sister Pollie Beattie; his sons Morris Ward (Carol Anne) and David Ward (Cheryl); grandchildren Morgan Greer (Mitchell), Brady Ward (Emily), Angie Evatt (Russell), Andrea Arledge and Adrian Howard; great-grandchildren, Dean Blackwell, Nora and Waylon Greer, Weston Owen, Owen Arledge, Brandon and Carson Howard, Zach, Avery, and Ansley Evatt; and great-great grandchildren Karver Jackson and Dawson Howard; and countless family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife JoAnn and his sister, Hattie Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Cancer Society of Greenville.

A graveside service for Brady will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
