Brenda Verdin Josenhans, 77, of Laurens, South Carolina, wife of the late Richard Josenhans, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her home.

Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late William Montgomery and Mary Ashmore Verdin. She was employed by Estes Freight Lines in Florida before her retirement. Brenda was a loving mother and sister and a member of Mauldin United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Rilene Patricia Bennett of Laurens; a sister, Linda V. Tanner of Ware Shoals; and two nephews, Robbie Tanner of Laurens and Bill Tanner of Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Mauldin United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mauldin United Methodist Church, 100 E. butler Road, Mauldin, SC 29662.
