

Carol Sutton Turner, 82, a lifelong resident of Greenville SC, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Hospice House of Simpsonville after struggling valiantly with Pancreatic Cancer and other health complications. Carol is survived by her husband and soul mate: Roy A Turner, Jr.; daughter: Deborah Taylor and daughter-in-love: Susan Pelletier; two step-sons: Bryan Turner (Cindy) and Doug Turner (Allison); son- in- love: Bill Roberts; grandchildren: Marissa Pedora Davila, Kenny Weidle, II, Allison Renee Turner, Kayla Turner and grandson-in-love: Michael Ratenski. She also leaves behind friends who are like family: Attorney Tom Brissey and his wife, Linda and a special friend from High School: Cecil McCullough. Carol was a 20 year member of SCALI (South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators) and leaves behind many friends and acquaintances. Carol enjoyed all the beautiful things in life; she enjoyed the beach the most. She loved to have her morning coffee listening to the ocean. Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and will truly be missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm at Woodlawn.
