Carroll Gene Gardner died peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2013. Born July 10, 1943 to the late Howard Gardner and Fairlene Turner Gardner of Cowpens. Carroll served in the Air Force and was a police officer for 27 years. He also worked for American Services for 17 years until he retired. Surviving are his loving wife Shirl Parsons Gardner of the home; two daughters Jennifer Gardner French and her fiancée Ray of Simpsonville, Britany Gardner Mulawka and husband Michael of Hickory, NC. Three Grandchildren Baileigh French, Bella O’Rear, Zachry Langford; Three sisters Eunice Willingham of Georgia, Betty Isleib of Spartanburg, Geraldene Robinson of Inman. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home located at 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, South Carolina.
