Found this in an old album recently. Charley and I had the same class together from K-5th and were friends. This was 4th grade during a school play where we both had to go on stage together and I was so nervous I thought I was going to vomit. After he was done memorizing what he was going to say he looked up, saw my face and asked if I needed a trash can. I told him to distract me, so he had me go through my lines with him. When we got called up, he stood up with me, took my hand, looked me in the eyes and said, I got you. And walked me to the stage. He took the lead while we were on stage, witty and shining, I was in awe of him. One of the truest friends I have ever had, and I’m grateful to have known him.

I remember the day I met Charley... It was summertime and my then boyfriend Patrick took me to his aunt Eileen's to go swimming and have lunch. This would be my first time meeting his family I was really nervous but willing to go when I got there everyone was in the backyard there's an inground pool there was barbecuing his sister and his cousin we're laying out tanning there it is too little young boys who I learned were Charley and Justin. The shorter one asked me my name and I told him Oni and well of course he didn't know how to say that or didn't make any sense to him so why you decided to call me for that whole day was hey you everything you did every trick him he did into the pool belly flop Swan Dive turn it all the way down to the bottom of the 12 foot pool whatever it was hey you watch me do this hey you and that's the first day I met Charley. That's a priceless memory to me I'll never forget it just like I'll never forget him. I love you nephew to the moon and back and back again you're always on my mind forever in my heart Rest in paradise with your Uncle Pat I love you mean it

Nicole -  We are old friends... this is Brinda Calori.  Dave told me what happened with Charlie and I started balling my eyes out.  I remember when he was 2 or 3 years old and every time I would come over he'd hide under the table like I couldnt see him... Then he'd see on my lap and rub my face endearingly...you'd say "I think he's in love with you'.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I wish I could just reach out and give you a big hug.

I miss and love you so much! i know that each and everyday you are watching over me and helping me get through! when we met again it will be joyous! i love you baby!

Well Charley I know everyone can agree that u are one of a kind. The best friend anyone could ever ask for. You are the one everyone looks up to. We all miss you and love you and we will meet again in paradise. Probably sooner than it seems. Til then I will be missing u til the day we hear that laugh and see that smile.

It seems like it was just yesterday you and josh were wrestling with your dad kenny.i havent seen you boys(you men) in years. From what your dad has said you and josh had grown up to be respectible young men. you will be remembered by every person you have met in your life. your in my prayers charlie . RIP!!!

Charlie is a son to me, i've known him for many years and the day he and Tony met, he immediately became part of our family. i will forever remember his beautiful smile and twinkling blue eyes, both of which would light up any room he walked into.  he is tony's bestfriend and my boy.  he is greatly missed and greatly charished.  i'm so happy i've had the chance to know him.  he touched the lives and hearts of everyone he met! Rest in Peace Charlie! Mama Niece loves you sooo much! May your heart and soul be free baby!

Charley and i grew up together and since im the oldest out of the little group i thought hed be signing my book first... i love you brother and someday well run the streets again!

Although I did not know Charley personally, I know what an important person he was in the lives of my nephew, Tony & great-nephew, Peyton.

Charley I hope you know how much your father loved you.  He talked about you and Josh all the time.  He missed you so much and wanted to see you so bad.

Charley, you will be incredibly missed & I know you were looked up to in so many ways :) I only met you once, but you were a great friend & sparring partner with my husband :) you will forever have a place in chad's heart as a great friend.....watching you on the DVD's that coach darrell made was always exciting bc you were great at what you did & loved....boxing :) we will keep your family in our hearts & prayers.....

Sometimes we measure life by days

ive known charley for a while, i met him at boxing. He had so much talent. I'm so lucky to have the memories of him that i do and i will cherish them forever. I'll miss you charley, and i love you boy.
