David Leland Norris III

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lee (Lauren), and Cooper (LeAnne); grandchildren, Jordan, Parker Hadley, Hazel, Henry and Audrey. David loved his family very much. David also had many first cousins and their families whom he loved and visited.

He was born in Greenville County S.C. to Emily Douglas Norris and David Leland Norris, Jr. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1965 and graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of S.C. in 1969. His ROMEO classmates became lifetime friends whom he loved.

After college David was employed in Manufacturing and worked with Klopman Industries, J.P. Stevens, Inc. T. & S.Brass and Bronze of Travelers Rest, Carmet Tungsten Carbide and Renewable Water Resources.

David started All Seasons Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, Inc in the mid 1980's. His son, Cooper, owns the business now and has developed it into the successful thriving business it is today. David also started All Seasons Environmental Labs, Inc in the early 2000's to test and maintain sewer systems in camps, residential developments and commercial industry. This business was sold in 2012.

He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Greenville serving on the National Day of Prayer Committee. In previous churches he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Chairman of various committees.

He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, generosity and love of people. He will be dearly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

A Memorial Service celebrating David's life will be held Saturday January 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Receiving of Friends at 1:00 p.m. First Presbyterian Church, 200 W. Washington Street, Greenville, SC 29601.

In lieu of flowers, the Norris family would ask that memorials be made to Upstate Community Hospice House through The Carnation Foundation N.
