Denise Suzanne Williams, 54, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, August 21, 2015 after years of declining health. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late William J. Lloyd and Mrs. Faye Cooley Wood who survives. Denise was a 1979 graduate of Dorman High School. She was most proud of her family and will be lovingly remembered as a faithful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Keith Williams of Gaffney; her sons, Eric (Brandy) and Brandon Williams; her mother, Faye Wood; her sisters, Melanie McMahon and Carol Lawson; her step-brothers, Scott and Mark Wood; and her beloved grandchildren, Ayden and Leo Williams. She was also predeceased by her step-father, James Wood and brothers, Jerry and Billy Lloyd. A service to celebrate her life will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 3:00pm at Cross Hill Community Church in Spartanburg. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
