Dianne Pruitt Tollison

Dianne Pruitt Tollison passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on May 7, 1948, to Alvin and Hazel Pruitt, Dianne spent most of her life in Greenville, South Carolina, where she was deeply rooted in her faith, family, and community.

Dianne was an active member of Greenville First Assembly of God, where she faithfully served in the youth ministry and participated in mission trips. Her faith and generous spirit touched many lives.

A devoted mother, Dianne worked hard to provide for her children as a single parent for a time. Around the age of 38, she pursued a career as a hairdresser so she could support her family. With determination and passion, she founded Scissors Salon in Mauldin, where she styled hair for both men and women and built lasting friendships with her clients over the years.

It was at the salon that she met the love of her life, Lester Tollison, who later became her husband.

Dianne had a special love for her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Wendy Pisor; and her cherished grandchildren, Geoffrey King, Lily Pisor, Stella Pisor, and Tommy Pisor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Hazel Pruitt; her husband, Lester Tollison; and her son, Robert King.

Dianne will be remembered for her strong faith, loving heart, and the dedication she showed to her family and community. Her memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Mackey Funerals & Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609, on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

A graveside service will be held at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681, on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
