Edith M. Renegar Copes, 79 of Greer, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Born in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late John Leonard and Mary Mildred Dillon DeLozier. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, Greenville and retired from Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. She is survived by four children: David Renegar of Greenville, Paige Stewart of Irmo, Douglas Renegar of Charleston, and James Renegar of Taylors; three granddaughters and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by her first husband: Douglas Renegar, her second husband Charles Copes and a brother: James DeLozier. Edie loved gardening and keeping a good home. Her biggest joy was having family home for the holidays. Later in life, she traveled to many countries experiencing different cultures. A private Graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 4:00pm in Woodlawn Memorial Park. www.woodlawn-fh.com
