Born on September 25, 1937, in Honduras, Elena lived a life filled with strong faith and devotion to her family. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome and loved, whether through her warm smile, a home-cooked meal at the kitchen table, or the gentle wisdom she shared with others.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will forever cherish the stories she told, the lessons she taught, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her home was always open, her advice always thoughtful, and her prayers always sincere. She believed deeply in God’s love and lived her faith daily through compassion, generosity, and service to others.
She is survived by her children—Reina I. Nieves Enamorado, Vladimir A. Enamorado Coffey, Jose C. Enamorado Coffey, Hernan A. Enamorado Coffey, and Javier I. Enamorado Coffey, as well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph E. Enamorado and parents—Francisca Coffey and Ruben Bonilla.
Though she may be gone from our sight, her love and spirit will remain with us always.
Rest in peace, Abuela. You will forever be missed and forever be loved.
