She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Jerry C Gibson; they had 3 children and two grandchildren. Clint Gibson & his wife Kimberly, Greenville SC; Charlie Gibson & his two children, Cohen & Cayden; Greenville, SC; Clark Gibson, Greenville, SC. She is also survived by her two brothers. Mont & Jane Alexander, Irmo, SC; and Al & Kathy Alexander, Charlotte, NC.
Mrs. Gibson, a retired teacher, was a longtime member of White Oak Baptist Church, Greenville, SC where she served as church clerk, and was actively involved with church’s youth group.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Oak Baptist Church, 1805 Wade Hampton Boulevard Greenville, SC 29609.
Visitation & a memorial service will be held at White Oak Baptist Church on March 2, 2017, followed by a graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, SC.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and go until 10:45 am with the memorial service starting at 11:00 am.
