Elizabeth Lorene Mullikin Powers, age 90, passed away on Saturday, January 30th at her home in Greenville, SC. She was born in Greenville on September 30, 1925 to Milton Clarence and Mary Vaughn Mullikin. Elizabeth graduated from Furman University in 1946 and married Roscoe L. Powers on December 21, 1946. She is survived by her husband, Roscoe Powers, her children, Richard (Mary L. Crowl) Powers, Lee Powers, Debra Powers, and grandchildren by Richard and Mary, Phillip (XinFang Hu) Powers, and Catherine (Michael) Leonard. Graveside service will be held today, Monday, February 1st at 2pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville SC.
