Faye Stockstill Miller, age 89, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Brookstone Terrace of Simpsonville. Faye was born on January 31, 1933, in Oshkosh, WI. She enjoyed a career as an Executive Assistant in the mental health field for more than 30 years and was a founding member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
She was predeceased by her parents Aubrey and Agnes Messing; husband, William Stockstill, Jr.; husband, Donald Miller; brothers, Guy Messing, Aubrey Messing, Roger Messing; and a son Terrance Miller. Faye is survived by her children, Robin Stockstill (Sue); Glenn Stockstill (Denise); Lisa Pollard (Bruce), Robert Miller (Marlene); Tom Miller (Kathy); Linda Miller; Linda Schneider (Kirk); and Marty Miller (Cindy) along with 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Faye was a woman of many talents and interests but she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, ASPCA, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 16, 2022 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 910 Hudson Road, Greenville, SC.
