Born in Jersey City, NJ, Mr. Koenig was the son of the late Frank Ferdinand Koenig and Monica Cravet Koenig. He was a veteran of the US Army and was tremendously patriotic. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Mr. Koenig was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheri Koenig; 3 children, Frank Koenig, Jr. (Kimberly), Jason Koenig (Meleah), and Dorie Fann (Jeff); and 13 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at The Mackey Mortuary from 1pm to 2:30pm.
