

August 23, 2023 at his home. Born in Lancaster, SC January 8, 1933 he was a son of the late Joseph Furman and Odessa Faile Faulkenberry.
Mr. Faulkenberry, "Ken" as he was known proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a commercial pipe fitter and plumber by trade retiring in 1996 to enjoy time with his family and pursue his hobbies of gardening, home projects and enjoying time along the SC coast.
Ken is survived by his wife of more than 64 years, Frances Borders Faulkenberry of the home and his children Sherri Faulkenberry Davis (and Husband Jeff) of Simpsonville, SC and Steven Blake Faulkenberry (and wife Peggy) of Roebuck, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as a niece and nephew. In addition to his parents Ken was predeceased by his sisters Jean F. Baskins, Diane F. Bailey, Sandra Kay Faulkenberry and a brother Douglas Faulkenberry.
Services will be officiated by Dr. Ralph Carter at Mackey Woodlawn Chapel located at 1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville, SC 29609 on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at 2:30 pm with military honors with interment in Serenity Mausoleum on the property following the service. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm immediately prior to the service.
