Born in Altoona, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert Charles and Susan Sophia Stone O’Neil. Mrs. Shiffler worked on the railroad in Altoona during World War II, was a homemaker, and attended the Assembly of God Church. She loved her family.
Mrs. Shiffler is survived by a son, Steven Charles Shiffler (Beth); three daughters, Brenda Kay Balch, Sally Faye Shiffler, and Rebecca Eve Leach; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her dog, Rufus. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Lawrence O’Neil; and two sisters, Mary Jane O’Neil Baker and Helen Margaret O’Neil Hagerty.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
