Born May 31, 1963 in Mobile, Alabama, Stewart was a graduate of Furman University.
He was formerly employed with Eagle Business Solutions for 20 years and was the cofounder of Six Mile Properties, LLC. He was a member of First Baptist Church Greenville.
Surviving are his parents, Dr. James M. and Nancy Stewart Pitts; his wife, Kelley Ellison Pitts; his children, Lillian “Lilli” Stewart Pitts and Colton James Carey Pitts; his brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Jackie Pitts and their children Will and Jon Walker; and his maternal grandmother, Lillian Cook Stewart.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:00am in the Charles Ezra Daniel Chapel, Furman University.
The family will receive friends following the service.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm in Springwood Cemetery.
