Jeffrey was born in LaGrange Georgia to Myra Jones Garrison and the late Joseph Ivan Garrison on February 6, 1970. He graduated from Seneca High School, where he played on the 1987 state champion baseball team. He attended Clemson University and served in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm.
Until the disease took hold, Jeffrey worked as an extrusion operator for both Milliken & Company and Shaw Industries.
Survivors include his mother, Myra Jones Garrison of Simpsonville; brothers Eddie (Irene) of Easley, Dennis (Debra) of Walhalla, and Chris (Amy) of Simpsonville; nephews Josh Garrison (Kara), Jake Garrison, Hunter Garrison, Connor Garrison, Joey (Meagan) Garrison, and niece Peyton Garrison; great nieces Penny Garrison and Madelynn Garrison and great-nephew Parker Garrison; and best friend/caregiver of many years, Vincent Wilkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeffrey's honor may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
